We already know the outcome of the battle — Jesus returns and His Kingdom is established forever. But while the battle rages, let’s never forget that Jesus has already defeated the enemy, conquered death and set us free. He has also given us His power and authority, so we can have dominion over all the earth right now. He has overcome every strategy of the enemy, and now He invites us to become one with Him to enjoy the peace He has already won. Do we dare to do what He suggests and “be of good cheer”? Absolutely. A season of unemployment is nothing to the One who has already conquered both hell and death!
Declare this:
- I choose to be of good cheer and at peace because I am in Christ.
- By faith I receive His overcoming power in the face of every challenge and trial.
- I have the overcoming power of Christ for His spirit lives in me.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Revelation 12:11
You’ve just completed an interview and you’re excited. You’ve prayed and God has confirmed that this is the place for you. Then you’re told a sudden hiring freeze has happened. How do you respond? Do you slide into depression or cry out to God, “Why did you lie to me? You said this was my job so why didn’t you deliver what you promised?” Too many of us abandon our harvest just because storm clouds come up. Don’t break before your breakthrough! The next time the enemy comes against something God has
promised, rise up in your authority and release the hand of God over it. Stand in faith. When God tells you something, you can count on it.
Declare this:
- I spend time with God to receive His Word for my life.
- I trust the promises God gives to me and I will not be moved.
- I thank God that the enemy cannot take what God has given me. I take my authority and cancel all the strategies of the devil.
Your life, your work, and your assignment matter
now more than ever.

Take back territory for the Kingdom of God and hold it until He returns.
